CVO's message

Message from the Chief Vigilance Officer

Integrity, transparency and accountability are fundamental to good university governance.

Maharshi Dayanand University is committed to maintaining the highest standards of probity, fairness and transparency in its academic and administrative functioning.

Vigilance is not confined to detection of misconduct after it has occurred. Its primary purpose is preventive—to identify systemic weaknesses, strengthen procedures, reduce avoidable discretion, promote transparent decision-making and ensure that public resources are administered fairly and responsibly.

The Vigilance Wing shall endeavour to deal with vigilance matters objectively, confidentially and in a time-bound manner, on the basis of facts and verifiable records, without prejudice to any individual.

Members of the University community and the public are encouraged to bring to the notice of the Chief Vigilance Officer any specific and verifiable information relating to corruption, demand for illegal gratification, misuse of official position, embezzlement, serious procurement/tender irregularities or other vigilance-related misconduct concerning M.D. University.

Suggestions for improving systems, enhancing transparency and strengthening preventive vigilance are equally welcome.

Let us work together to promote integrity, fairness and accountability in the University.

Prof. Pardeep Kumar
Chief Vigilance Officer / Nodal Officer
